Joel Bogeberg's original background as a school psychologist has helped him immensely in his sensitivity in working with children and families. His easy going and professional manner captures the true character, personality and essence of our loved ones.

You can choose from a wide range of children and baby portraits from studio to on location. Each session is custom designed to match the style and feel of the room where your portraits will be displayed. As an artist Joel offers many types of backgrounds and looks for your baby and child portrait, but we realize that having all these choices can indeed be overwhelming. That’s why we highly recommend giving us a call so we can suggest that the best location, background and clothes for this important portrait. We sincerely want this entire process to be both special and as easy as possible for you.

Within the studio we offer:

There are three distinct looks and backgrounds that we offer within the studio so we can custom design the look and feel that would be best for your portrait with your baby or children.

First, we have been recommending to many of our clients now the Renaissance Background. This is a beautiful warm tone background with columns and trees. Your children will look awesome in it whether we create a formal, semiformal or informal type of theme.

Second, if you want a lighter look and feel for your home, we still offer our white or pastel background. We have many white wicker props & light colored props to compliment this type of look.

Third, if you are seeking a timeless, classic and formal look than we recommend the elegant Dark Blue Background. With this background we have captured many magical images in both color and in black and white.

Our black and white portraiture is more popular than ever and Joel really enjoys custom designing your portrait for either a distinctive fine art look or a more fun, contemporary and playful look with many of the above set designs and backgrounds.

On-location Series

With our on-location series Joel has done incredible portraits at: the beach with your children and family, beautiful parks, and at client’s homes (both indoors and/or outdoors).
